From Palo Pinto, Texas: Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller has activated relief funds to support farms and ranches affected by a large wildfire. The State of Texas Agriculture Relief Fund and the Hay and Feed Hotline are now available to those in need. A significant area has been impacted, with approximately 80,000 acres burned.
The fire is currently 12% contained, and conditions remain hazardous. Residents have been evacuated, with over 1,000 people displaced. Firefighters and first responders are working to control the blaze.
