Lubbock County's facilities director is seeking increased maintenance spending in the upcoming budget cycle. This comes after a 2022 assessment of county-owned properties found significant deferred maintenance. The assessment evaluated 30 buildings, garages, and warehouses, with only about one-third rated in good or fair condition.
