A residential home for adults with intellectual disabilities is set to open in early February. Construction on the home was made possible by a $200,000 donation. The funding came from two sources: Lubbock AMBUCS and an anonymous donor.

The home is the first of its kind for High Point Village, an organization focused on building independence for adults with intellectual disabilities. Further details about the residential home and High Point Village's mission can be found through the organization or its supporters.
